Extra Storage for the BMW F750 and 850 GS (Latest News)

Motorcycles have a limited amount of storage space, which means that everyday riders, long-distance tourers, and ardent explorers will never have enough room for all of their gear. When it comes to the BMW F 750 GS, F 850 GS, and F 850 GS Adventure, Wunderlich offers a brand-new accessory for each of these models.

The answer is no; it is not an additional pair of panniers, nor is it a top box; rather, it is a fairing system that attaches to the rear subframe of the BMW motorcycles.

One of the reasons that it is regarded to be a system is because it is composed of two separate elements for each side. The first of these pieces is the actual fairing, and the second is a Drybag that is attached to the system.

If you do not want to make use of the bags or if you anticipate traveling with only a minimal amount of belongings, you may easily detach the back from the motorcycle.

Note: The fairings are made of polypropylene, and the system is an all-in-one package, which means that you do not need to buy anything separately in order to go on with your life and continue living happily ever after.

If you wish to further increase the carrying capacity of your adventure bike, Wunderlich also offers a cool bag that can keep drinks chilled while you ride. This bag is available for purchase separately.

The bags themselves have a capacity of two liters, and they are convenient for carrying miscellaneous stuff such as a tool kit, a first aid kit, or any other little items that may come in handy during a trip or a long ride.

Because the exterior of the bag is constructed from Cordura 500 and has a layer of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for water resistance, you can store your phone or other electrical devices there without much concern that they will become wet.

The Loxx closures, which are also water resistant, are included with the bag purchase as well.

Note: Since the bags are positioned on the sides and at the back of the motorcycle, it is less likely that they will come into touch with any debris, mud, or pebbles that may be on the ground.

On the website of Wunderlich, you can place an order for these components for the two middleweight BMW Adventurers for the price of €239 EUR, which is comparable to $245 USD given the current conversion rate.

Mihael

Hello there fellow motorcycle enthusiasts; I’m Mihael. The first motorcycle I had was a scooter Gilera vxr 200 from 2003. This is the motorcycle I fell in love with, which brought me into the moto world. Since then, I have been riding many kinds of bikes, from dirt bikes to race bikes. At the moment, I have a Kawasaki Z750 from 2004, and all I can say is that it is a hell of a bike. I have been riding motorcycles for the last 10 years, and during this period, I have been to many locations where I would probably not be without my bike. My goal is to give you the best advice and tips possible that I have been using myself and that all of my biker friends find helpful to them as well.
