Honda India Releases New CB300F (Latest News)

Indian consumers now have access to the brand-new Honda CB300F street bike. The motorcycle is positioned below the CB300R, which occupies a more premium market because of its neo-retro design elements.

The neo-retro design characteristics are what give the motorcycle its premium positioning. In India, upmarket Honda BigWing stores will sell the CB300F in addition to the CB300R. These stores will be located around the country.

The CB300F is powered by a brand-new engine that is 293cc in size, oil-cooled, four-valve, SOHC, and produces 23 horsepower and 17 foot-pounds of peak torque. In addition, it has a slipper clutch and a manual transmission that has six different gears.

The front and rear of the motorcycle are equipped with inverted front forks and a five-step adjustable monoshock, respectively, to provide support for the alloy wheels that measure 17 inches. The braking system consists of single discs on both ends, with the front disc being 276 millimeters and the rear disc measuring 220 millimeters.

The CB300R was modeled after the larger CB500F, which is offered in international markets and served as the inspiration for the CB300R’s design. Sharp body lines, upswept tail fins, pointed tank extensions, and a low-slung headlight is all characteristics of this vehicle’s design.

On the list of available conveniences, you’ll find full LED lighting, dual-channel anti-lock brakes, and Honda’s Selectable Torque Control, which performs the same function as a traction control system. The entirely digital instrument cluster provides readouts of useful information such as the average and current mileage, the amount of fuel remaining, the voltage of the battery, and an indicator for the gear that is now being used.

In addition, the Deluxe Pro model comes with Honda’s smartphone voice control technology already installed.

To underscore the importance of sporting ergonomics in the design of the CB300F, Honda gave the motorcycle angular bodywork and a sleek, futuristic appearance.

The usefulness of the motorcycle is enhanced by characteristics such as its curb weight of 153 kilograms, ground clearance of 177 millimeters, the accessible seat height of 789 millimeters, and 14-liter fuel tank.

The selling price of the CB300F has been established by Honda at Rs 225,900 ($2,838 USD) for the Deluxe model and Rs 228,900 ($2,876 USD) for the Deluxe Pro model.

The motorcycle comes in a total of three different hues, which are gray, blue, and red. Given its somewhat high price point, the CB300F is a relatively pricey possibility compared to its primary competitors, the KTM 200 Duke, the Suzuki Gixxer 250, the Yamaha FZ 25, and the Bajaj Pulsar N250.

Mihael

Hello there fellow motorcycle enthusiasts; I’m Mihael. The first motorcycle I had was a scooter Gilera vxr 200 from 2003. This is the motorcycle I fell in love with, which brought me into the moto world. Since then, I have been riding many kinds of bikes, from dirt bikes to race bikes. At the moment, I have a Kawasaki Z750 from 2004, and all I can say is that it is a hell of a bike. I have been riding motorcycles for the last 10 years, and during this period, I have been to many locations where I would probably not be without my bike. My goal is to give you the best advice and tips possible that I have been using myself and that all of my biker friends find helpful to them as well.
