(LATEST!!) Marc Márquez Allowed To Train Back in August 2022

Marc Márquez has had a year full of ups and downs, but as of August 24, 2022, things are moving in the right direction. On that day, Marc’s medical professionals gave him the go-ahead to enhance his personal training routine and, more crucially, to start riding a motorcycle again.

Then they will be able to assess how his arm is recovering and what kind of activity he is prepared to perform.

Drs. Joaquin Sánchez Sotelo, Samuel Antua, and Angel Cotorro make up Márquez’s medical staff. They have so far expressed satisfaction with Marc’s recuperation after his most recent procedure at the Mayo Clinic in the United States.

In reality, he had only been swimming for two weeks when the same doctors gave him the go-ahead to exercise in the gym addition to that.

Riders in the MotoGP are extremely athletic people. In order to compete on their level, you must be. It seems (even if it’s simply anecdotal) that they are able to mend more quickly, which is useful when it comes to injuries.

There is a fine line to walk if they want to make sure they aren’t exerting themselves beyond what their healing process can handle at this time. Highly motivated athletes also have a tendency to push themselves further than most individuals do.

Because of this, Marc and the Box Repsol Team, which includes the medical team, will monitor and evaluate each step of the process. Dr. Sotelo’s assessment of Marc’s development was as follows:

“Today [August 24, 2022], I had the opportunity to evaluate Marc Márquez in regard to his surgical procedure recently performed at Mayo Clinic. Fortunately, Marc Márquez has regained a great arc of motion and has recovered well from a muscular perspective as well. Today, he underwent radiographs and a CT scan that show complete bone union,” he said.

What happens in the future next is completely unpredictable, but Márquez is clearly pleased to have greater flexibility to exercise as someone who values health and movement. It can be challenging to rest if you’re used to moving around.

He said as much during a recent event held at the Repsol Honda offices to honor his 10 years of service to the team as a rider. As always, we send the champion healing vibes for a quick recovery.

Mihael

Hello there fellow motorcycle enthusiasts; I’m Mihael. The first motorcycle I had was a scooter Gilera vxr 200 from 2003. This is the motorcycle I fell in love with, which brought me into the moto world. Since then, I have been riding many kinds of bikes, from dirt bikes to race bikes. At the moment, I have a Kawasaki Z750 from 2004, and all I can say is that it is a hell of a bike. I have been riding motorcycles for the last 10 years, and during this period, I have been to many locations where I would probably not be without my bike. My goal is to give you the best advice and tips possible that I have been using myself and that all of my biker friends find helpful to them as well.
