What will you be doing on August 29th, 2022? There’s a fascinating thing going on that you need to know about if you’re attending the North American Warhorse/Ducati NYC track day at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, and it involves the Roadracing World Action Fund.
Dunlop is stepping up to give a very special package to competitors at the Pocono Raceway North American Warhorse/Ducati NYC event for this particular track day.
The Roadracing World Action Fund will receive a 100% donation from Dunlop on that day from the sales of 20 sets of brand-new Sportmax Q5 tires.
That’s right when you purchase some brand-new track day tires there, all of the proceeds will go toward supporting the RRWAF’s safety initiatives at events like yours.
You’ll also be among the first riders in North America to check out these tires.
For those who don’t know, the Roadracing World Action Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting track safety for riders and racers.
Education is a part of this, and supporting air fence barriers for motorcycle road race courses and track days around the United States is an extremely important component of this.
If that’s not awesome enough for you, Warharse HSBK Racing Ducati rider Josh Herrin and Dunlop tire engineer Anthony “Tony” Romo will also be present at this particular track day event.
Don’t pass up the opportunity to obtain their advice on your setup because they will be available to provide support for Dunlop customers.
Any rider who is signed up for the North American Warhorse/Ducati NYC track day that will take place at Pocono Raceway on August 29, 2022, will have the opportunity to acquire a brand-new set of Dunlop Sportmax Q5 tires at a price of $300 per set, and they will have a choice between two different size options.
To be clear, for the first 20 sets of these tires that are sold, the entire $300 will go straight to the Roadracing World Action Fund.
These tire size combinations are available:
- 120/70-17 and 180/60-17
- 120/70-17 and 200/60-17
As part of this limited-time offer, there will be a total of only ten sets of each of these size combinations being made available. Starting on Friday, August 26, 2022, you can buy the tires at North American Warhorse in Dunmore, Pennsylvania (where they must also be mounted on your tires).
They can also be purchased on-site at Pocono Raceway on the track day on August 29, where mounting is not necessary.
Track day attendees who attend this event will also receive a coupon worth one hundred dollars good for the purchase of any Dunlop tire at a participating Dunlop tire dealer.
