(NEWS) Keeway’s V302C cruiser debuts in India

Chinese motorcycle manufacturers have taken major steps to improve the build and performance of their vehicles. A motorcycle built in China would have been promptly avoided less than ten years ago because of widespread, accurate prejudices about its quality.

Today, however, even the largest corporations have embraced Chinese manufacturing, collaborating with Chinese firms to produce products under names like MV Agusta and Harley-Davidson.

This inevitably led to Chinese manufacturers absorbing the know-how and production techniques of their western competitors, and we’ve been seeing fantastic new models from companies like QJ Motor and CFMoto as a result.

The QJ Motor group’s Keeway, another up-and-coming Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has recently experimented with larger bikes after specializing in small-displacement scooters and commuters in the past. With pricing ranging from Rs 389,000 ($4,883 USD) to Rs 409,000 ($5,134 USD), Keeway has officially launched the V302C cruiser in India.

Recent releases from Keeway include the Vieste 300, Sixties 300i, and K-Light 250V cruiser. The V302C cruiser has the potential to enhance the entry-level cruiser market in India in terms of features and performance.

The Benda BD300’s powerful, retro-styled body is shared by the Keeway V302C, which is essentially the cruiser under a different name. It has a strong frame and a tall, large fuel tank that give it an intimidating yet fashionable aspect. It also includes a trendy circular LED headlight and a handlebar that is mid-rise.

The 298cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine that powers the V302C has a performance rating of 29.9 horsepower and 18.55 ft-lbs. It has a belt-driving system and a six-speed gearbox. The Benda BD300, on which the V302C is based, also produces 30.5 horsepower and 17.71 ft-lbs of torque.

A dual-rear shock absorber suspension system and an inverted front fork are just two of the high-end underpinnings on the Chinese motorcycle. It includes a 300mm disc up front and a 240mm disc at the back for assured braking, along with the extra assurance of twin channel ABS.

A digital circular instrument panel that includes a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, and the gear position indicator is one among the many luxuries that come standard on the Keeway V302C.

The Yezdi Roadster and Royal Enfield Meteor 350 can be likened to the Keeway V302C despite being far more expensive than either even if they are not direct competitors.

However, the justification for the higher price is understandable given that it has a much more distinctive V-twin engine arrangement and has a lot more amenities.

Mihael

Hello there fellow motorcycle enthusiasts; I’m Mihael. The first motorcycle I had was a scooter Gilera vxr 200 from 2003. This is the motorcycle I fell in love with, which brought me into the moto world. Since then, I have been riding many kinds of bikes, from dirt bikes to race bikes. At the moment, I have a Kawasaki Z750 from 2004, and all I can say is that it is a hell of a bike. I have been riding motorcycles for the last 10 years, and during this period, I have been to many locations where I would probably not be without my bike. My goal is to give you the best advice and tips possible that I have been using myself and that all of my biker friends find helpful to them as well.
